Plastic is precious - and a menace Plastic is an amazing product. Unfortunately the volume we produce and discard is choking our seas, killing our wildlife, and has entered our food chain. Microplastics have entered our water, land and even our air. Only 9 percent of all plastic ever produced has been recycled - the nature of plastic means it is difficult to do anything with it. We need to turn off the plastic tap. You can find lots of information under the heading The Four R's on this website, here we will look specifically at plastics and help support you to reduce your plastic use.
