Make a New Year’s resolution to start a new and greener lifestyle in 2016.
Wyre Forest District Council and Transition Kidderminster are staging the Greener Living Show at Kidderminster Town Hall on Saturday 30 January 2016, 10-2.30pm to help get you started.
There will be heaps of advice on hand from renewable technology to building your own eco and sustainable home, small scale gardening to conservation and wildlife - even handy hints on how you can creatively upcycle your old furniture.
There will also be free and fun activities for children who will be able to try their hand at a range of arts and crafts using recycled materials, take part in a nature quiz organised by council rangers or even learn how to make their own bird box which they can put to good use using a free RSPB Garden Birdwatch pack.
A range of upcycled furniture and Traidcraft Fairtrade products, will also be on sale, plus FREE Fairtrade Hot Chocolate for all!
